Alan Soutar is a respected veteran, firefighter and PDC darts professional, adored by fans throughout Scotland and the rest of the world.

“Soots” served for 10 years in 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery, across the world including posts in Kosovo, Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Norway and Brunei.

Following his time in the military, Soots chose to work simultaneously as both a trophy-winning PDC professional darts player, and an active duty firefighter of 20 years, incredibly balancing both jobs.

Soots would go on to become Scotland Captain, as well as one of the top 32 ranked players in the world, and even training guide dogs on behalf of Guide Dogs Scotland.
